Business Intelligence Is Linking People, Strategy, And Performance At Progressive Insurance

HR Analytics at ProgressiveSAN JOSE, CA– November 2, 2012 – Technology consultancy KPI Partners partnered with Progressive Casualty Insurance Company on a customer spotlight webinar that featured a unique business intelligence solution for HR.  Progressive is building state-of-the-art human resource scorecard solutions to optimize the capabilities for managing approximately 25,000 employees and 450 office locations.

Progressive moved from a basic, one-size-fits-all, reporting platform to a customizable solution tailored to fit the needs of each of their 5 business units. Part of that transition included a migration from Business Objects to Oracle Business Intelligence.

“We wanted to make it easier to understand for our HR users. By nature of their background, HR users are not really data people so they are dependent upon us to make it as easy as possible to see the data and make insightful decisions.” said Joe Vasil, Progressive’s Manager of Data Analysis.
