CRM Analytics Success Stories
PNC Bank – CRM Analytics with Integrated Mainframe Data and Custom Security model
PNC Bank is one of the largest financial services companies in the US. It has $143 billion in assets. It has a retail banking branch network in 8 states. Its asset serving operations includes more than $2.6 trillion in total fund assets serviced. In total, PNC has over 66,000 employees and offers services to individuals, small companies, large corporations, and government entities.
This project, with Siebel CRM as the primary data source required the integration of mainframe data containing sales quotas with CRM data containing sales opportunities. The dimensions were conformed between the two data sources and historical snapshots were also taken of the mainframe data and the Siebel CRM opportunity data. A custom security model was created using OBIEE presentation variables to replicate the Siebel CRM security model. In addition, column masking was implemented in OBIEE to ensure that certain users did not see certain sensitive data regarding mergers and acquisition opportunities. This project won Oracle’s Customer Excellence Award at Oracle Open World 2008.
Mercer HR – CRM Marketing Analytics from Siebel and non-Siebel data
Mercer HR is a global leader for trusted HR and related financial advice, products, and services with 18,000 employees that are based in more than 40 countries. Their business goals were to deepen relationships with clients' employees, run campaigns once or twice in a day to target various participants, replace ePhiphany (legacy marketing application) with Siebel Marketing and replace Business Objects reports with OBIEE dashboards.
KPI built a 100% customized Marketing Meta Data and Marketing Business Model using a non-star schema data mart. Segmentation was done using a combination of financial and CRM data. This project was delivered in 12 weeks and exceeded Mercer’s expectations.
