KPI Partners has developed a Metadata Advisor tool which uses your existing OBIEE environment to provide quick, in-depth analysis into data lineage (source to target), impact analysis, gap analysis, and calculation analysis. Metadata Advisor provides insight into the information housed in web catalogs, .RPD files, DAC, ETL tools and more.

Metadata Advisor simply functions within your existing OBIEE environment as an additional subject area. No additional software or hardware is required. Using the enhanced analytic capabilities of Oracle BI, Metadata Advisor provides out-of-the-box analytics on your data as it moves from source system to target report within your enterprise.
As changes are made to your living environment, Metadata Advisor dynamically documents all impacts to system modifications so they are visible for impact analysis and accuracy.
