Shiv Bharti, Director of Business Development

Shiv is responsible for building client relationships and driving business in the midwestern United States.

At KPI, Shiv has lead some of the largest and most complex BI Projects in a global environment.  His experience has brought success for some of our largest customers, on-time and on-budget.  The achievements of Shiv's team earned KPI the the ‘Above and Beyond' award for an Oracle BI implementation on HR Analytics. 

Prior to joining KPI Partners, Shiv was part of the Siebel and Oracle Core engineering teams responsible for the product development of Oracle's Business Intelligence Applications.   Shiv holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Allahabad.

Where is your hometown? Chicago, Illinois

Describe your role at KPI... As a Director of Business Development in the Midwestern United States, my role is to maintain relationships with existing clients and evangelize our offering to prospective clients in the Midwest.

Describe your professional background... I recently moved into sales after working as an Oracle BI Architect and Account Manager. While in technical roles, I helped lead the deployment of the largest and most complex BI Projects in a global environment. I was also part of the Siebel and Oracle core engineering team that designed and built the Siebel Analytics and Oracle BI Applications for various modules.

Describe your educational background... Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Allahbad.

What was your first job? Building Siebel Analytics Application with Siebel Systems.

What do you do in your free time? I read a lot of books on my Kindle and am currently training for a triatholon.

What are you currently reading? Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption by Laura Hillenbrand
