Sub Folders/ Nesting Folders in OBIEE 11G Answers

Until OBIEE 11.1.1.6.0 we were limited to nesting the folders only at 2 levels.  This limitation has been fixed in OBIEE 11.1.1.6.2 with a nice feature.

In general, the recommended approach for uploading the metadata repository is to use the Repository tab of the Deployment page. But you might encounter specific situations in which you must upload the repository using a different approach. For example, the size of the repository file can be too large for Fusion Middleware Control to handle, or you might be working in a development environment and have unique needs.

How To Increase The Slider Value Limit in OBIEE 11g

By default OBIEE 11G has slider value limit of 50. But most of the cases we must to change this setting to 100 or more (at least in my case). To change the default set limit, update your instanceconfig.xml file as explained below.
