Business Objects To Oracle BI Conversions At Cox Communications, St, Jude Medical, and Bank of Hawaii

Many organizations are converting their existing Business Objects universes and reports to Oracle BI. KPI has a proven methodology for Business Objects to Oracle BI migration based on experience with the largest and most complex migration projects in the world.

Cox Communications

Cox Communications made Oracle BI its enterprise standard, working with KPI Partners to convert its Business Objects applications to Oracle Business Intelligence. Over 1,500 reports and 25 Business Objects universes were converted to Oracle BI using KPI’s industry-leading BI conversion methodology and technical expertise. Cox Communications achieved significant cost savings and established a BI Center of Excellence with this project.

St. Jude Medical

St. Jude Medical made Oracle BI 11g their enterprise standard, using KPI Partners and their BI Conversion methodology to convert over 100 reports from Business Objects to OBIEE 11g. Oracle BI Publisher 11g is widely-used to provide pixel-perfect reports for manufacturing and operations. A blended model of on-site and offshore KPI Partners resources was leveraged to minimize implementation costs and maximize the speed of conversion.

Bank of Hawaii

A hosted implementation of Business Objects was costing Bank of Hawaii more than other analytics solutions and was not giving them the functionality they needed. KPI Partners converted 80 Business Objects reports and 5 universes to OBIEE in 5 weeks. The result was a lower cost of ownership (TCO) and the agility Bank of Hawaii needed to support user needs quicker than the previous solution.
