This six-month project, with two instances of Oracle E-Business Suite as its data source included an implemention of Oracle Financial Analytics.  Over 100 custom columns were added to the BI Applications data warehouse as well as over 140 metadata columns and metrics were added to the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) repository.  A key budget vs. actual report that met the needs of all 6 cruise brands was a business highlight of the project.

The ETL process was performance tuned to reduce its run time from 12 hours to 4 ½ hours to support a global company such as Carnival.  To support the significant data volumes in the general ledger (100 million rows +), KPI implemented its industry leading performance tuning methodology to improve report run times from over 15 minutes to less than 30 seconds.
