We can create Custom Print Layouts for high-fidelity printing of dashboard pages. Custom Print Layouts allow your end users to produce high-quality printed dashboard content.
When you create a custom print layout, the dashboard page is exported to BI Publisher and the following items are generated automatically:
The new release of the Oracle BI Applications (22.214.171.124.1) now leverages Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). This huge development means that ODI can alternatively be utilized as the primary data integration tool over Informatica. ODI and its Extract-Load-Transform functionality could provide customers a setup that delivers increased performance and reduced data integration costs.

The Use of "Patches"
A traditional Oracle BI Applications implementation involves customizations which require changes in Data Warehouse Administration Console (DAC) metadata objects like Tasks, Tables, Indices, Subject Areas, etc.
Oracle Data Integrator (ODI): Executing A Load Plan
A Load Plan is an executable object in Oracle Data Integrator that can contain a hierarchy of steps that can be executed conditionally, in parallel or in series. Procedures, interfaces, packages, variables, and can be added to Load Plans for executions in the form of scenarios in a Load Plan.

E-L-T vs. E-T-L
Oracle Data Integrator, or ODI, provides a new declarative design approach to defining data transformation and integration processes based on a unique Extract-Load-Transform (ELT) architecture. The declarative design approach separates the declarative rules from the implementation details. ODI architecture eliminates the need for a standalone ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) server and proprietary engine while leveraging the inherent power of RDBMS engines.
